Ways to Give

All gifts, great or small, make a difference. We are interested in hearing from alumni, donors, faculty, staff, current students, and community partners interested in supporting the Cross-Cultural Center. Please explore the following ways you or your organization can support the transformational work we do everyday to build inclusive communities at UCI:

Student Scholarship Support

Consider supporting scholarship support for our undergraduate students via the Dr. Joseph L. White Scholarship. Professor Emeritus Joseph L. White, also known as the "Godfather of Black Psychology" has been a longtime supporter of the Cross-Cultural Center.

Summer Multicultural Leadership Institute

The Summer Multicultural Leadership Institute, our annual summer program for 50 incoming freshmxn, provides them with an introduction to student life, campus climate, and social justice education. This weekend program, which occurs in August, includes workshops that address dialogue facilitation, conflict-resolution, and various diversity and social justice topics.

Signature Programs

The Cross-Cultural Center offers signature programs for the broader campus community every year: Community Roots Festival (fall), Martin Luther King Jr. Symposium (winter), and Deconstruction Zone (spring). Consider donating to support our longstanding traditions so we can continue to attract nationally recognized thought leaders and performance artists.

Gift of Time

We invite alumni and community partners to be mentors, serve on career panels, and participate in our programs and events during the academic year.

Please consider giving online here. Be sure to search for "Schools/Units" and look for "Campus - Student Affairs." You'll have the option to select your designation as "Cross-Cultural Center Support" or "Cross-Cultural Center - Dr. Joseph White."

For more information, please contact our center and reach out to our staff. We appreciate your support in advance.
