Cultural Wellness Series for Advocates and Allies
The Cultural Wellness Series for Advocates and Allies is a series that aims to educate student advocates and allies on cultural wellness. Participants will engage in workshops, panels, and discussions on topics such as the role of allies, social justice burnout, managing emotions, self-advocacy, self-care, self-love, and how cultural wellness relates to physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The series will be ongoing with programs taking place each quarter.

This event will educate student leaders on personal wellbeing and holistic wellness while also giving them the opportunity to learn about different dimensions of wellness. We will have wellness stations set up with repreesentatives from campus to help you de-stress and provide resources. Refreshments will be provided!

Self-Preservation as Resistance: Tips for Practicing Self-Care & Social Justice

Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Experiencing social jutsice burnout? We all know social justice work and organizing comes with many responsibilities. However, we must be mindful that even in the midst of our organizing, we also have a responsibility to engage in restorative self-care. We cannot offer anything to the movement if we are drained and burnt out. Come join us for a critical dialogue and discover a few tips to aid you in your efforts to maintain, restore, and opertae from a place of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well being.
