Dear Campus Community,

The Cross-Cultural Center is hosting the Martin Luther King Jr. Symposium from January 23-26, 2018. We invite you to participate in several programs and workshops, including the Dr. Joseph L. White Lecture, taking place that week.

The Office of Campus Organizations & Volunteer Programs is also organizing the MLK Jr. Day of Service event in partnership with the Orange County Food Bank on Monday, January 15 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The Office of Campus Organizations & Volunteer Programs will also host the Leadership and Community Service Fair on Wednesday, January 24 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in Pacific Ballroom, Student Center.

"Living His Legacy: A Mentee Tribute"

Crystal Cove Auditorium, Student Center

Doors open at 5:15 p.m. Opening keynote address by Dr. Jeanett Castellanos (Lecturer, School of Social Sciences) followed by a panel discussion featuring Dr. Jeanne Manese (Director, UCI Counseling Center), Dr. Jessica Ortega (Senior Staff Psychologist, UCI Counseling Center) and Dr. Milo Dodson (Senior Staff Psychologist, UCI Counseling Center). A reception will take place outside the Crystal Cove Auditorium immediately following the event. UCI Libraries will also have an archive exhibit displayed in the reception area.
